Issue/Introduction

This cumulative point fix article contains fixes for SMP (Symantec Management Platform) and other Solutions for issues resolved for customers with ITMS 8.8 RTM (GA) until the next ITMS version is released/installed.

SMP/SMA (Symantec Management Platform/Symantec Management Agent) Fixes:

Client not receiving CEM policy while its in correct Target	400051
Top 10 Most run reports & Longest running reports - Unknown Error	400694
After Upgrade Licenses are not working	401135
DURING UPGRADE - Upgrade Stuck at: Configuring step 13 of XX - Altiris Task Management Installation...	402182
IIS module is not registered in IIS after upgrade on PS on Windows Server 2022
Provide possible ways to identify what packages need to be deleted	New report "Package Distribution Point Status" added to Notification Server Management -> Server reports folder. Report shows correct status of package distribution points.
Agent does not respect Task Agent Settings for HistoryKeepDays config	403768
Issue with CEM gateway certificate replacement	Fixed an issue related to: Gateway certificate thumbprint is not updated properly when updating/replacing Internet Gateway certificates.
Agent service stopped on remote Task Server	Fixed an issue related to: Heap corruption in aensagent.exe (Symantec Management Agent (SMA) service) that occurs when SMA on remote Site Server requests authentication token from SMP Server for a remote client and causing Agent service to stop.
IRM - Update SQLite to the latest version with security fixes	Updated SQLite from 3.49.1 to 3.50.4

Wrong Boot Mode in System Boot Info dataclass	Fixed an issue where Client machine is using UEFI boot mode. But the collected inventory reports BIOS instead. We Improved boot mode detection. Avoid relying on localisable strings.
Inventory Agent - Update SQLite to the latest version with security fixes	Updated SQLite from 3.49.1 to 3.50.4

Software Portal does not publish the correct Command Line on the Child Management Platform server	400764

CM (Credential Management) Fixes:

Off-box upgrade corrupts WMI Credentials

Fixed an issue related to off-box upgrades. Steps to duplicate: Perform off-box upgrade to ITMS 8.7.2 or later Launch SMP Console, open 'Resource Manager' for the SMP Server itself Click View>Real-Time >Default Connection Profile Select 'Default Connection Profile' and click 'Edit' icon Scroll down to the WMI Credentials Result: Domain name is corrupted. Edit option results in Error page: The following error occurred on the page 'EditCredential.aspx'

RHEL 10 Support (ULM)	Note! This ULM pointfix doesn't provide full RHEL10 support by ITMS Solutions (DS, Patch, Monitor Solution). You will need to install "Patch_8_8_PF_v1_13Jun2025.zip" or later and "Monitor_8_8_PF_v1_13Jun2025.zip" or later We are continuing to work for a full support statement.
