Issue/Introduction

The following is a high-list of common checks, tips, issues, suggestions to employ to upgrade from 24.2 to 25.1 and 25.1HF1

• Upgrade 24.1 to 25.1
• Upgrade 24.2 to 25.1

B. 25.1-HOTFIX#1

• pods "hotfix-mgmt-pod" is forbidden: maximum cpu usage per Container is 16, but limit is 200

C. 25.1 UPGRADE

 

• After upgrade to DX O2 25.1, the default Inventory UI by type / group is displayed in small sub-windows
• Checking the progress of ./AIOpsManagement.sh --importImages when using PODMAN
• [ WARN ] Recommended pods requirement not met
• [ ERROR ] [router-host-validate] [ FAIL ] Check port 80 is open
• [ FAILED ] Pod dx-owner-directory-check execution has failed

• Clear out old registry images in PODMAN
• DX O2 Upgrade process to 25.1 when using Openshift 4.16
• Does DX O2 25.1 includes all 24.2 HOTFIXES?
• "AIOpsManagement.sh --update" failed failed with "File does not exist: tls_certs .. . Please enter a valid file"
• "AIOpsManagement.sh --update" failed with [ERROR] Failed to collect transparent huge pages value
• "AIOpsManagement.sh --update" failed with "[ERROR] Copying files to NFS failed"
• "Source Product Link" hyperlink not working after upgrade to 25.1
• ERROR: [FAIL] Chart la failed , logs-opensearch-master-Is-prepare-0 pod in Pending state
• Checking DX O2 release information from the UI
• " Update jobs has failed: Onboard dashboards" (INTERNAL_ERROR) after upgrading to 25.1
