A CmContainer has been removed (currently found 0)!?error in Agile Designer

Issue/Introduction

When trying to apply a license for Agile Designer, I am receiving the following error message:
A CmContainer has been removed (currently found 0)!

 

Environment

CA Agile Requirements Designer (ARD)- Agile Designer
Release: 2.10 and older

Cause

If you are missing a license container, or tried to apply a license that was created for a license container other than 'AgileDesigner', you will receive this error message. 

Resolution

1. Check CodeMeter Control Center (CC) to see if there are any license containers. There should be an 'AgileDesigner' container listed under the 'License' tab.

2. If you do not see an 'AgileDesigner' license container, you will need to import this into CodeMeterCC.

3. If there are license containers other than 'AgileDesigner', you will need to delete them from CodeMeterCC.

4. Now that you have the correct license containers in CodeMeterCC, you will need to create a new license request and apply it in CodeMeterCC.
