Patching postgres cluster as part of upgrading CSP-102547 is failing with error LCMVIDM71147

Issue/Introduction

• Applying KB CSP-102547 Patch Instructions for VMware Identity Manager 3.3.7 and VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.18.0 Patch 6 and 7 fails when attempting to Patch Postgres Cluster
•  VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle shows the following error in the UI: 

  Error Code: LCMVIDM71147
  Failed to update Auth provider with VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle hostname.
  Failed to login to VMware Identity Manager czcl-scvcfcws00.vcf.admin.stet. Failed to get admin token: Invalid credentials or Password locked.

• Reviewing vIDM cluster health on the vIDM Administrator Portal > Dashboards > System Diagnostics Dashboard page is reporting that the sshuser has expired for all nodes in the cluster.

Resolution

Note: Prior to applying below steps please take a snapshot of VIDM as nodes as per KB How to take a Snapshot of VMware Identity Manager

1. Revert both VIDM and VRLCM snapshots
2. Reset the sshuser password as per KB How to change Expired Password for "root" and "sshuser" in VMware Identity Manager 
3. Sign into VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle with admin@local
4. Add the newly created sshuser password to the locker using the document VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle using the document Manage passwords for VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle products as a guide.  
5. Trigger inventory sync for VIDM nodes selecting the newly created sshuser password when prompted
6. Apply the upgrade again as per KB CSP-102547 Patch Instructions for VMware Identity Manager 3.3.7 and VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.18.0 Patch 6 and 7
