This cumulative point fix article contains fixes for SMP (Symantec Management Platform) and other Solutions for issues resolved for customers with ITMS 8.7.1 until the next ITMS version is released/installed.

Upgrade - SMA on SMP unable to get policies Note: As part of this fix, make sure you also install "Remote_TS_8_7_1_PF_v1_20Sep2023.zip" on any Remote Task Server that you have.	N/A

TS (Task Server) Fixes:

Upgrade - SMA on SMP unable to get policies	N/A

Install instructions:
The pointfix available in Remote_TS_8_7_PF_v1_20Sep2023.zip is for remote Task Servers (This point fix only needs to be installed on remote Task Server(s) and NOT on the SMP Server itself) and it must be installed on all remote task servers manually by running pfinstaller2.exe with Administrator rights  

 

SMF (Software Management Framework) Fixes:

Unable to edit Software release name	274931

It is not pointfix but a new version available that you may want to consider for an updated 64-bit ipxe.efi (ipxe v1.21.1+) binaries signed by Microsoft:
