Issue/Introduction

When logging into the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM), the following error appears:

Unexpected server error. Unexpected server error: ErrorCode: 0x10010000

Resolution

Error occurs after upgrading

• Unexpected server error post upgrade to 14.3 RU7 [FileSystemException]
• Unable to login in Endpoint Protection Manager after upgrading to latest version 14.3 RU7 from 14.3 MP1
• Installation of web server service fails, resulting in Unexpected Server Error 0x1002000 when logging into Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager
