Issue/Introduction

When logging into the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM), the following error appears:

Unexpected server error. Unexpected server error: ErrorCode: 0x10010000

Cause

Resolution

Error occurs after upgrading

• Unexpected server error post upgrade to 14.3 RU7 [FileSystemException]
• Installation of web server service fails, resulting in Unexpected Server Error 0x1002000 when logging into Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager
• Unexpected server Error. ErrorCode: 0x10010000 during the GUI login, after upgrade to 14.3 RU6

Error occurs when logging in to the SEPM console

• Unexpected Server error when logging in to Endpoint Protection Manager with FIPS mode enabled
