Issue/Introduction

Broadcom is consolidating the automic.com websites — specifically the Automic Download, Documentation, and Automation Marketplace sites — onto Broadcom's primary support platforms. This transition provides customers a single, unified location for accessing product resources instead of separate Automic-branded sites.

As part of this migration:

  • downloads.automic.com (product and component downloads) is moving to the Broadcom Support Portal.
  • marketplace.automic.com (action packs, integrations, and plugin extensions) is moving to the Broadcom Support Portal.
  • Docker images previously hosted on gcr.io are now hosted at packages.broadcom.com.

All automic.com platforms will be decommissioned by [August 24, 2026]. After decommission, the legacy URLs will no longer serve content, and customers must use the new Broadcom-hosted locations going forward.

Additional detail is available in the Broadcom Product Support Notification (ID 38048): https://support.broadcom.com/web/ecx/support-content-notification/-/external/content/CriticalAlerts/0/38048

Action required: Docker image registry migration

Docker images for the latest released versions (24.4.4, 24.4.5, and 26.0.0), previously hosted on gcr.io, are migrating to packages.broadcom.com.

To continue pulling images after the migration, you will need to:

  1. Obtain a token to access the new registry.
  2. Update any custom Helm charts and configuration to point to packages.broadcom.com.

For detailed steps, see Migrating AAKE Docker Image Pulls from gcr.io to packages.broadcom.com.
