Feb 19, 2025 - The SMG 10.9.1 release has been republished to the download servers

Some SMG 10.9.0 systems are failing to boot following the update to 10.9.1. This is a known issue with systems that were originally installed with 10.7 or earlier releases and sequentially updated. The /boot partition is too small on older release installs to fully contain the kernel and initial ramdisk image for the 10.9.1 version. Please see the following KB articles for more:

  • Users are unable to log into Quarantine if remote syslog is enabled.
  • OpenID Connect configuration is not backed up or restored, unless a full backup was used.
  • Administration policies are not correctly backed up or restored, unless a full backup was used.
  • In some circumstances, an application error will occur when attempting to view Host Status.
  • In some circumstances, an application error will occur when attempting to import or upload a file to the Control Center or Quarantine.

  • The ability to set the ciphers used for secure control center connections.
  • The ability to set a policy condition to act on file encryption status.
  • The ability to collect diagnostics data that includes end user preferences.
  • The ability to import DKIM certificate files that include CRLF at the end of any lines in the certificate file.
  • Spam quarantine summary now includes both friendly and unfriendly addresses together.
  • SMG now provides the ability to delete all stats files with the CLI command, delete statsdata.
