MSP CA PPM Integration tab disabled if using Silent Install

Issue/Introduction

You are aot able upload the Project Plan (.mpp) and the CA ppm Integration tag/tab is not available/missing. The Addin is showing as disabled, and we are not seeing any of the modules in Microsoft (MSP) Visual Basic when reinstalling the addin. 

Note: We use a silent installer to install the MSP Interface

Environment

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : CA PPM MICROSOFT PROJECT (MSP)

Cause

This issue can be related to an issue with a silent installer/package

Resolution

Install the MSP Interface directly from Clarity versus the custom / silent installer.

1. This can be done via Account Settings->Software Downloads with access granted to download the software
2. Ensure the bit level installed is the one that matches MSP (So for 32 bit MSP use the x86 MSP Interface package)

If the above works, this indicates an issue with the silent installer, reach out to the team who created the package to look into issues with the package
