General troubleshooting steps for the Microsoft Project (MSP) Interface for one Clarity PPM project on one laptop/workstation

Resolution

 

Step 1: Delete the project from the workstation

Delete the project from the computer using the steps at: MSP: Delete mpp and xml from workstation for Clarity

Step 2: Ensure the latest supported MSP update is installed

If on the 14.x MSP New Driver or higher, check to make sure you have the latest supported Microsoft Project update installed. See KB: Microsoft Project monthly patches impact with Clarity for more details on MSP Security update support. 

Step 3: Check the MSP Settings for the project

Check the MSP settings for new projects to make sure they match the required/recommended settings at Configure default settings in MSP to use with Clarity
