Alarm deep link filter not functioning for custom users in DX Operational Observability 26.1

Issue/Introduction

Custom users experience issues where deep links to specific alarms fail to apply the appropriate filter automatically, instead displaying the entire alarm list. This behavior differs from administrators, who successfully filter alarms using the same links. This issue is specific to version 26.1.

Symptoms:

• Alarm deep links (copy and paste of alarm links in the browser URL) do not filter for the intended alarm.
• The entire alarm dashboard displays instead of the specific alarm context.
• Issue occurs for common users, while administrators maintain expected functionality.

Environment

DX Operational Observability 26.1 OnPrem

Cause

Analysis confirms a timing issue in the 26.1 on-premise branch clearing the applied filter after updating the URL. This issue is related to Defect DE685442.

NOTE: The fix for this defect is already in DX O2 SaaS

Resolution

1. This issue has been addressed via a hotfix for 26.1 HF3. You can download it from Broadcom Support
2. If this issue persists contact support: Contact Broadcom Support.
3. For defects and enhancements, recommend the user subscribe to the article (KB 275360) to be updated on fix status.

Workaround: Manually apply the filter
