End of lines missing when copy/paste reports from AWI 24.4.5 on Chrome or Edge

Issue/Introduction

When copying text from a job or agent report in the Automic Web Interface (AWI) using Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari), the pasted text loses all line endings. The content appears as a single continuous line in external tools such as Outlook or Notepad.

Symptoms

• Copying report lines results in a single-line string.
• Formatting (line feeds) is visible in the AWI GUI but lost upon pasting.
• Regression from versions 24.4.3 and 24.4.4.
• Behavior occurs in Edge, Chrome and Safari; Firefox works as expected.

Cause

This is a product defect (regression) currently tracked under DE209912. The issue is related to how the clipboard handles CSS styles and line endings in Chromium-based browsers.

Resolution

Workarounds:

1. Use Firefox to access AWI, as it is not impacted by this issue.
2. Deploy a standalone AWI 24.4.4 instance connected to the AE 24.4.5 environment.
3. Download the report file directly instead of using copy-paste.

Solution:

This issue is targeted to be fixed in the following releases:
