Modified By and/or Owner column display null after upgrade to VCF Operations 9.1

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to VCF Operations 9.1, the Modified By and Owner columns in the Views management page display "null" for certain entries.

• Navigate to Operate > Dashboards > Views > Manage.
• Sort by Modified By or Owner columns.
• Multiple views display the string "null" instead of a username or "System".
• In version 8.18, these same views previously displayed "System" in the Modified By column.

VCF Operations 9.1

Cause

The user ID associated with the owner or last modified user in the VCF Operations internal database no longer exists in the system. When the UI attempts to render the missing user information, it returns a "null" value.

Resolution

 The Broadcom engineering team is aware of this cosmetic defect.
