Issue/Introduction

Renaming a variable object (VARA) used inside a Prompt Set does not update the variable name within the Prompt Designer, even when selecting the "Rename & Update Selected" option.

• The VARA object is renamed using the Rename & Update Selected utility.

• Opening the Prompt Set in the Prompt Designer displays the first alphabetical variable name located in the associated client.

• Automic Automation Engine V26

Cause

The rename operation does not correctly update the embedded XUI JSON string within the Prompt Set elements. This is identified as defect DE208227.

Resolution

This issue is currently under review by Engineering.

Fix Status: Targeted to be fixed in a future release.
