Issue/Introduction

SNMP V3 collection fails after updating to version 4.3.1 GA or 4.3.1.01 Testing identifies the following inconsistencies:

  • OID Discrepancy: OIDs for MIB 1.3.6.1.4.1.10449 return values different from official documentation.
  • Intermittent Behavior: Restarting the Poll Server restores some OIDs temporarily, but subsequent collections return incorrect data or generate errors.

Environment

Privileged Access Management
Versions: 4.3.1 GA or 4.3.1.01

Cause

A product defect in version 4.3.1 also including 4.3.1.01 affects the xcdmsubagent component, leading to inconsistent OID reporting.

Resolution

It will be fixed under 4.3.2 when published.

Monitor Symantec Privileged Access Manager Hotfixes  and CA Privileged Access Manager Solutions & Patches pages for 4.3.2 publication. When published will have in this link steps to download and install the new release.

If this problem is observed with 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 is not available yet, or upgrade to 4.3.2 is not possible at this time for another reason, contact Broadcom Support.
