Cannot Login to the vLSR via SSH with root

Issue/Introduction

While trying to SSH to the CLI of the VLSR appliance VM you encounter failed authentication message and could not login with root.

Cause

By design the root user cannot login via SSH/CLI  to the vLSR appliance.

Resolution

Ensure to use admin user to login. then elevate the prompt to root and authenticate with root password.

you can elevate to root using su
