Issue/Introduction

Agent generating Events for Health Check FailureId[490] similar to:

Carbon Black App Control Agent detected a problem: Carbon Black App Control Agent kernel is not attached: ..... FailureId[490]

Environment

• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions

Cause

The Agent Health Check Guide states:

The parity.sys driver reported a volume that it is not attached to. The parity.sys filter driver is expected to be attached to all file system volumes that contain supported file systems.

Resolution

1. Verify the OS build & Agent version are supported.
2. Verify Agent Exclusions are in place.
3. Verify the issue persists with the latest version of the Agent.
4. Fully stop & restart the Agent.

If the issue persists, the Agent will need to be fully uninstalled and reinstalled.
