Generally anything big that we find would also have a KB associated with it. You can find these by doing a search on the support portal (Pre-Filtered Link Here) and searching for the version in question (Ex. 8.11).
Operating Environment Requirements / Supported Agent Operating System combinations
Carbon Black will perform final validation of Operating System Support when the operating system becomes generally available. Time between release and Carbon Black support of the operating system varies, but is indicated in the following target service levels:
Maintenance releases (service packs) - Target 30 days
Minor releases (Red Hat 6.6 to 6.7, Mac OS 10.10.4 to 10.10.5) – Target 30 days
Major releases (Windows 8.x to Windows 10, Mac OS 10.10 to 10.11) – Target 90 days
Support Life Cycle Stages
Carbon Black App Control product releases (Agent and Server versions) will enter various Life Cycle Stages (Standard Support, Extended Support and End of Support) based on the General Availability Release Date.
Major and minor releases remain in Standard Support for 12 months from the time of General Availability.
If a newer major or minor version of the product is released, the previous version will be supported for 6 months post GA of the latest release.
