You can restore the the config backup from the physical CAS appliance to to the CAS-VA, provided the software versions are the same. See the Tech. Articles with the URLs below, for guidance. Backup/Restore can also be done from Management Center. Restore the config from MC, by clicking the "Restore" button, and following the steps.
