Issue/Introduction

This article provides the steps to validate what Locker Password Alias is being in used on a Product.

It is part of a group of articles about managing passwords using VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager: Password management with Aria Suite Lifecycle (vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager) Locker KB 322673 .

On VCF mode VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle, the passwords are managed by the SDDC manager rotation tool. Therefore:

Note: This article shows how to validate the passwords associated per product using Lifecycle Operations. It is possible to validate the password association in Locker, after selecting the respective password alias and checking on the References as explained on Managing passwords by using the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle locker

Resolution

 
1. ​​​​​​Navigate to Lifecycle Operations > Environment, select the environment of interest, and click on VIEW DETAILS.

2. The Admin passwords are present in the Product and the passwords at the node level are present in the node tab:
