OC Reports "CABI is not available or accessible" after upgrade to 8.00

Issue/Introduction

Upgraded CABI from 7.50 to 8.00 and observed the following:

1. OC Reports are not displayed and show "CABI is not available or accessible."

Browser's developer tool captures the following error:  "cabi/api/server info 503" 

noted the following entries in the cabi.log while validating the upgrade.

 2. CABI log show version 7.50 on startup even though upgrade to 8.00 was successful 

[main, cabi] ****************[ Starting ]****************
[main, cabi] 7.5.0

3. CABI log also captured the Sync error below

[UserSynchronizationThread, cabi] Warning: unable to sync users with CABI. Cause: 'Error getting all users, got unexpected response code '401' and body '''. Will retry in 60 seconds. For more detail please set log level to DEBUG.

Environment

  • UIM Release: 20.4 CU4
  • Component: cabi 8.00

Resolution

Uninstalling and reinstalling cabi resolves this issue.
