Known causes of API Errors reported in Clarity, typically in the following areas: Clarity Modern / New User Experience (UX/UI) and Clarity Rally Integration/Sync

Resolution

API-1002

• Agile Central Sync - API-1002 : Can process max 50 resources at a time - fixed in 15.5

API-1003

• API-1003: resource projectStatusReports is not found
• API-1003 error on describeAttributes
• Modern UX Error: API-1003: Could not find resourcetimesheetAPP
• API-1003 : Could not find resource OBS_BROWSE_FLT_IDEA
• API-1003 error: Rest API Get call does not work for custom dynamic lookups

API-1004

• API-1004 error: User is unable to Delete a Task in New UX when there is a custom attachment attribute associated to a Task Properties

API-1005

• API-1005 : Attribute(s) 'reportStatus' specified in query parameters are not supported.
• API-1005 : Attribute(s) 'reportDate' specified in query parameters are not supported
• "API-1005 : Attribute(s) 'pdfFile'.." or "Could not load project status report" - When attempting to view a Status Report in New UX due to defect fixed in 15.3 (see KB for workaround)
• Make sure the PMO Accelerator is installed as this is one cause of this error

API-1006

• Cannot filter in Staffing module in the New UI when using an Ampersand '&' - fixed in 15.4.1
• Unable to create new financial plan in New UX - API-1006 error - Targeted to be fixed in 15.9.2 and 15.8.1 patch 5.
• Error API-1006 when opening a Roadmap
• Filtering on Blueprint in the Modern UI using an ampersand '&' results in 'API-1006' error

API-1007

• Resource Enter Time instance rights not working in new UX - Fixed in 15.4.1 patch 1 and 15.5. Errors seen: API-1007 : You are not authorized to TinmesheetCarouselModel resource(s) / API-1007 : You are not authorized to process request. 
• Unauthorized error message appears when attempting to assign staff members to a task in Modern UX - API-1007 : You are not authorized to process request when attempting to assign staff members to a task in Modern UX
• In the New UX, some users are unable to edit tasks as they are not automatically granted the 'Project - Task Management' Right - "API-1007: You are not authorized to process request" or "Error: Project.tasks.errors.couldNotPatchCard" - Some users are unable to edit tasks as they are not automatically granted the 'Project - Task Management' Right
• New UX Status Report API-1007 Error 'Could not load view' - Could not load view, API-1007, or Could not load the view column errors accessing a tab in a New UX projects if the module is an object that has a sub object linked in Classic Clarity
• Agile Sync job failure: API-1007 : You are not authorized to retrieve resource(s)
• Create Instance Right is not working for custom sub-objects
• Sub-object Edit Instance Specific right does not work in New UX 
• Create cost plan for Custom Investments - API-1007 error
• API-1007 error when trying to access Resources menu in New UX
• Not able to edit cost plan - API-1007 error - Defect fixed in 15.8
• Delete picklist generates API-1007 error

API-1008

• API-1018 Error when attempting to replace a role or update allocation data in New UX - fixed in 15.6 and 15.5.1 patch 1
• Rest API response: API-1018 : Could not process the request

API-1019

• API-1019 Internal Error message when adding the task to the timesheet in Modern UX due to Corrupted WBS sequence
• Rally sync error API-1019 post upgrade to 15.7.1 for some projects
• Agile Central Sync job fails - API-1019 error when Projects or Tasks are associated to Milestones in 15.2 and 15.3
• API-1019 : Could not process the request when adding task to a timesheet
• API-1019 Error Occurs in the 15.1 New UI when Attempting to Open a Project - Fixed in 15.2
• API-1019 Error when trying to open a project in the Modern UX
• Error in New UX when Navigating to Project Details Page

 API-1029

• API-1029 Error when using REST API
• API-1029 error - Agile Central integration
• Clarity does not verify that the New Password and Confirm password data given match when resetting password in the new UI
• API-1029 : Authentication error after timeout for user without API access - DE56355

API-1030

• API-1030 when trying to change the password in the New UX
