API-1045 : API alias is mandatory when creating new Dynamic Lookups

Issue/Introduction

Error thrown in Classic, on update: API-1045 : API alias is mandatory when creating new Dynamic Lookups

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to Classic UI - Lookups
2. Create a new Dynamic Lookup
3. Put any valid NSQL code in it
4. After saving it go to Browse Window, and try to update anything there (ex. Attribute labels)
5. Click on Save

Expected Results: It saves the changes

Actual results: It throws the below error

API-1045 : API alias is mandatory for attribute 'xxx'

 

Environment

Clarity 16.2.0, 16.2.1

Resolution

DE78871, fixed in 16.2.2 and 16.2.1.1

Workaround: Update lookup by XOG.
