When you login to your MySymantec account to download your software with your serial number for Symantec Endpoint Protection, you see a list of files that you can download.
For more details on the software download capability in MySymantec click here https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.INFO5242.html
However, you are not sure what you need to download to get started.
What you download depends on how you plan to implement Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) in your organization. You should not need to download every file displayed in the download list.
Most files begin with the product name and version (shown here as ProductVersion), and end with the product’s language code (shown here as language). Bold text in the file name highlights what the file contains.
Note: This file is a self-extracting archive, which prompts you to choose a folder in which to save the extracted files. The default is to save the files in the same folder as the downloaded file. You should create a new folder for the extracted files.
Note: If you downloaded the Full Installation file, you do not need to download these individual files, except as noted.
