NSX Edge mismatch alarm after configuring a Node profile

Issue/Introduction

• Syslog, or NTP, configuration has been applied via an NSX Node Profile, System --> Fabric --> Profiles --> Node Profiles.
• The profile configuration has been applied successfully to the Edge node and is validated by running you run the admin CLI commands "get ntp-server" and "get logging-servers"
• Central config is enabled on the edge nodes. This can be confirmed by running the command "get node central-config".
• The NSX UI shows a critical mismatch alert for the Edge nodes, System->Fabric->Nodes:
  
  

• Clicking on "Mismatch" --> "Resolve Sync Error" resolves the alarm for a few minutes, but it will trigger again later:
  
  

Environment

NSX-T Data Center 3.2.3 and earlier
NSX 4.1.0 and earlier

Cause

This is a false positive alert and has no functional impact.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX-T 3.2.4 and VMware NSX 4.1.1, 4.2.0 available at Broadcom Downloads.
