Issue/Introduction

An expected CloudSOC DSS (Directory Sync) task did not happen as scheduled

In SpanVA / Monitoring Tab / Directory Sync / logs says “No logs available”.

In CloudSOC / Settings / CloudSOC SpanVA / Details Tab - I am also seeing that disk is 92% full. and moderate CPU/RAM utilization

Resolution

SpanVA version 1.15.3.151.0-8rc requires a minimum of 4 CPU and 16 GB RAM (or greater) to run normally.

Temporarily, Engineering worked with Client to free up disk space and restart DSS and Anonymizer services.

The newer SpanVAs need more than 8 GB for all the services and log processing to simultaneously run without running into issues.

Engineering advised Client to increase SpanVA RAM to 16 GB (or better yet 32GB due to having log feeds happening every 1 minute).
