OOTB Clarity attribute is not in DWH

Issue/Introduction

We would like to have a specific OOTB Clarity attribute added in DWH, however it is greyed out in Studio so we cannot enable it. Checking in DWH tables we do not see it added.

Resolution

• This is by design. Not all OOTB attributes are added in Data Warehouse
• To resolve this: Join the Product Management Office Hours and request the PM team to add this stock field to DWH as an enhancement in the next release.
• This way the stock field will be there as soon as you upgrade
• In some instances a calculated field can be made off the OOTB field. One example is the Originating Template attribute.  A string type calculated field can be created and included in the data warehouse.  Check to see if the attribute you need can be used to create a calculated attribute.

 

In the meantime whilst the field is not there:

• Use the reports as they are and not add this attribute for now, until the enhancement is applied
  or
• Use a customization in order to bring this field's data in your reports - the ways to do this are described here: PPM attributes: Include in Data Warehouse (custom domain or custom process)
