LiveUpdate Administrator fails to download SEP 14.x content files

Issue/Introduction

LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) start to fail download task after around 6 AM GMT, May 21. 
[Reason for failure] in LUA notification mail is "The download request failed to commit to database."

From OS Application log:

Log Name:      Application
Source:        PostgreSQL
Level:         Error
Description:
The description for Event ID 0 from source PostgreSQL cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:

2021-05-21 15:29:37.576 IST [5908] ERROR:  value too long for type character varying(4000)
2021-05-21 15:29:37.576 IST [5908] STATEMENT:  insert into PreCondition (name, value, ID) values ($1, $2, $3)

Environment

LiveUpdate Administrator 2.x

Resolution

A new LUA catalog has been published to address this issue.

You would need to manually update the LU catalog within your LUA

To download and update the new LU catalog:

1. Log in LUA console.
2. [Configure] - select "My Symantec Products"
3. Click on "update Symantec Product Catalog"


4. After the catalog has updated, run the download task
