API-1007 error: Unable to create / edit To Dos in 15.9.2

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to 15.9.2, users are not able to create, edit, or view To Dos that they were previously able to. Additionally, they may also see error:

API-1007 : You are not authorized to process request. Contact your system administrator for necessary security rights.

Release: Clarity 15.9.2

Cause

Starting in 15.9.2 additional access is required for To Dos.

Resolution

Grant the applicable access right(s) from the below list. These can be added at the group level or resource level. These rights are only available at the global level, but access will be restricted to only the associated objects the user has view access to.

  • To Do - Navigate
    • Allows user access to the To Do pages in the new user experience.   
  • To Do - Create - All 
    • Allows user to create To Dos in the new user experience for which the user has access to view associated objects.  
  • To Do - Edit - Al
    • Allows user to view and edit all To Dos in the new user experience for which the user has access to view associated objects. 
  • To Do - View - All 
    • Allows user to view all To Dos in the new user experience for which the user has access to view associated objects.  
  • To Do - Delete - All 
    • Allows user to delete all To Dos in the new user experience for which the user has access to view To Dos and to view associated objects.   

Please ensure the user has got object view access.

An user who wants to delete a ToDo on a project would need Project - View access right too in order to delete a ToDo
