Issue/Introduction

The 'Time Compliance Detail' report is missing the posted timesheets for the previous week. The Load Data Warehouse (DWH) (Full Load) has been run and completed successfully. However, the DWH_TME_SHEET table in the Data Warehouse is still missing the timesheets for last week (Period Starting 5/10/2020).

Environment

Release : All Supported

Cause

The DWH_CMN_PERIOD_V view that is used to populate the DWH_CMN_PERIOD table in the Data Warehouse does not include daily periods for this missing week. It has no daily periods past 5/3/2020.

Resolution

The DWH_CMN_PERIOD_V view is populated based on a combination of things such as:

  • the fiscal periods
  • data in the RPT_CALENDAR table
  • and the time slices

To get the missing week's timesheets to be available it the data warehouse, the following needs to be done:

  1. Make sure that all the fiscal slices are updating and cover the missing week. (In order for the fiscal slices to be updating, there needs to be an active Fiscal Period for the entire date range that these slices cover.)
  2. Run the Time Slicing job for the Fiscal slices to update
  3. Run the Update Reporting Tables job to update the RPT_CALENDAR table
  4. Run a Full Load of the Data Warehouse job
