Cannot save % complete or other values on some tasks of a project

Issue/Introduction

Unable to update % complete or other attribute values on any of the tasks in a project.

Resolution

Check to make sure that the Save button being used is the one in the General section of the Task Properties. The Save and Save and Return buttons in the Task Properties General section is used to save changes to the task details such as % Complete, and task Status.

The bottom Save button, if there is an assignment on the task, will save changes to the assignment section.
