Error: "Could not find downloaded bundle for vCenter upgrade to version: 8.0.3-25413364"

Issue/Introduction

When performing SDDC Manager prechecks, the process fails with the following error: "Could not find downloaded bundle for vCenter upgrade to version: 8.0.3-25413364". This indicates that the required vCenter update bundle is missing from the local SDDC Manager repository or the precheck cannot validate its presence.

Environment

• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.x
• SDDC Manager 5.2.2

Cause

While SDDC is connected to an online depot, the SDDC Manager is unable to locate the specific vCenter update bundle (8.0.3-25413364) required for a vCenter upgrade precheck. This may be due to a lack of connectivity to the Broadcom depot (dl.broadcom.com) or the bundle not being successfully downloaded to the Bundle Management repository.

Resolution

1. In the navigation pane, click Lifecycle Management > Bundle Management.
2. Click the Bundles tab to view available bundles.
3. For the bundle you want to download, do one of the following:
   1. Click Download Now for an immediate download.
   2. Click Schedule Download to schedule a download.
      Select the date and time for the bundle download and click Schedule.
