Architecture Pattern Fails to Filter Applications in Tanzu Hub Modernization Waves

Issue/Introduction

Using the Modernization Wave functionality introduced in Tanzu Hub 10.4.x, when using an Architecture Pattern that has criteria with Technical Facets using AND statements along with Modernization Challenges that include multiple Not Equal statements, applications containing the Not Equal components will still be displayed in the App list.

VMware Tanzu Platform - Hub 10.4.x

Cause

The issue occurs in the underlying EDS layer of the Hub application. The query fails to filter applications as expected.

Resolution

A fix for this is planned in a future major release of Tanzu Hub.
