Issue/Introduction

Management Pack Builder appears to break when mapping new API alert result codes. While the UI functions correctly at the top of the API results list, scrolling to the end to add new mappings causes the UI to render incorrectly, preventing the addition of new mappings.

• UI columns appear misaligned or obscured when scrolling through long lists of API result codes.
• Unable to commit new severity mappings for Zerto or other third-party management packs.
• Event codes appear blank in polling results.

Environment

VCF Operations 9.0.2

Cause

A UI styling causes the right column in the event severity mapping to expand incorrectly, potentially obscuring input fields. Additionally, mappings fail if the Add button is not selected after choosing an attribute.

Resolution

This issue will be fixed in the future release.

Workaround:

To resolve the issue follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Management Pack Builder UI.
2. Select the desired attribute under Event Severity at the top of the mapping screen.
3. Click Add to ensure the selection is committed before attempting to map further entries.
4. If the UI appears broken due to long lists, scroll carefully to verify all fields are filled, as the styling issue does not block input entry.
