Error: Workload domain NSX edge nodes missing in dashboards and views of VCF Operations

Issue/Introduction

In VCF Operations 9.0, workload domain NSX edge nodes may not appear in dashboards or views, such as the NSX Edge Nodes view. While management domain edges display as expected, workload domain edges are missing specific properties and metrics.

Symptoms

• Workload domain NSX edge nodes are invisible in OOTB views.
• Management domain edges display correctly.
• Properties such as Summary > Node type are missing for workload edge objects.
• Multiple metrics are not collected for workload NSX edges.

Environment

• VCF Operations 9.0.x

Cause

A product defect in version 9.0 causes the system to incorrectly use the policy ID instead of the policy unique ID to manage the metric cache. When these IDs do not match, the system cannot locate the correct keys for metric collection.

Resolution

Fixed in release 9.1 and higher. See Download Broadcom products, patches and software to download this release.
