Issue/Introduction

nformation regarding the ability to trigger email notifications when a user fails to log in to the Applications Manager client.

Symptoms

• User attempts to log in to the Client app with an incorrect password.
• No email alert is generated for the administrator or the user.
• Administrator seeks a server-level setting to enable these notifications.

Environment

Applications Manager 9.x

Cause

This is a product limitation. The Applications Manager notification system is designed to trigger alerts based on task and job statuses (such as Aborted, Finished, or Failed to Start) rather than client-level authentication events.

Resolution

There is no native setting or status trigger available at the server level to automatically send an email notification specifically for a failed client login attempt.
