Exporting LOGIN objects in AWI does not prompt for XML or JSON format

Issue/Introduction

In the Automic Web Interface (AWI), exporting a LOGIN object does not display the expected "Export Objects" dialog. Instead of prompting for a choice between XML and JSON formats, the system immediately downloads an XML file. This behavior is specific to LOGIN objects.

 

Symptoms

1. Navigate to the Process Assembly perspective in AWI.
2. Right-click a LOGIN object.
3. Select Transfer > Export.
4. An XML file downloads immediately. No dialog box appears to select the format or references.
5. When performing the same steps on other object types (e.g., JOBS, SCRI), the Export Objects dialog correctly displays radio buttons for XML and JSON.

Environment

• Automic Web Interface (AWI) 24.4.x, 26.0.0
• Automation Engine 24.4.x

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by Engineering to determine if this is a design limitation for LOGIN objects or a UI defect.
