Issue/Introduction

This article provides information about the Message Audit Reports for PGP Encryption Cloud Server.

Resolution

Message Audit Reports provide a foundational overview of email activity within the PGP Encryption Cloud Server.

Use these reports to monitor the flow of encrypted communication and manage external recipient interactions.

The report identifies external users interacting with the environment. It displays the specific type of user and the current status of each message.

The Message Audit Report includes information regarding:

  • External User Listing: View which external recipients are present in the report.
  • User Type: Identify the classification of the user account (Secure Portal, PDF Message, PGP Key, or SMIME users)
  • Message Status: Track the current state of the encrypted message.
  • Message Metadata: Review core details regarding the messages themselves.
  • The PGP Encryption Cloud Server includes this reporting capability as a standard feature, and it is ready for immediate use.

NOTE: The Audit Report does not show locked out accounts currently.

For additional guidance, reach out to PGP Encryption Support using the "Gateway Email Encryption" option.
