VMware Cloud Foundation adapter Instance in VCF Operations 9.1.x reports collection error

Issue/Introduction

• Navigate  Operate > Administration> Integrations > Select adapter instance "VMware Cloud Foundation" VMware Cloud Foundation adapter instance status is blank.
  
  
•  Navigate> Manage  >Fleet Management > Certificate> Select VCF Instances > Select the target Management  or workloads domain >  the components do not reflect certificates or passwords.
  
  
• SDDC appliance exhibits slow response times during login or bundle generation.
  
  
• /var/log/vmware/vcf/sddc-manager-ui-app/sddcManagerServer.log in SDDC Manager shows the error:

  ERROR ... [services/wrappers/requestPromiseWrapper.js, http-get-login, logAxiosError:69] axios.error.stack {"stack":"AxiosError: Request failed with status code 504\

Environment

VCF Operations 9.1.x

VCF SDDC Manager 9.1.x 

Cause

The SDDC manager appliance or workflow engine becomes unresponsive, preventing proper API communication and data collection.

Resolution

As a workaround, try the following:

1. Take a snapshot of the SDDC appliance: Taking and restoring snapshots of the SDDC Manager appliance.
2. Reboot the SDDC appliance if the services remain unresponsive.
3. Verify the SDDC adapter in VCF Operations >  Operate > Administration> Integrations > Select adapter instance "VMware Cloud Foundation"  > click the expand icon> check if the adapater resumes data collection.
