Issue/Introduction

  • When attempting to save integrations on the main VCF cloud account after the upgrade from 9.0.2 to 9.1 the following error appears: 

    The cloud account (VCF) SDDC cannot be saved. SDDC not found.

  • Connected domains are missing in the UI.

  • Network Settings or Backup settings tabs display the following error:

    Failed to fetch DNS Servers data. Something went wrong. Please retry or contact the service provider and provide the reference token <######>

Environment

  • VCF Operations 9.1
  • VCF SDDC Manager 9.1

Cause

This issue may be caused by incorrect or unreachable DNS server configurations within the SDDC Manager appliance, which prevents the system from fetching necessary network and backup data to complete cloud account integrations.

Resolution

  1. Follow the resolution steps outlined in the KB SDDC Manager 9.1 fails to load to verify DNS is configured correctly.
  2. If 'The cloud account (VCF) SDDC cannot be saved. SDDC not found.' error persists after verifying DNS Open a Broadcom Support case referencing this KB article 446822
