Organization count displays as zero on the dashboard after upgrade to VMware Cloud Foundation Automation 9.1

Issue/Introduction

• When you upgrade a 3-node VMware Cloud Foundation Automation (VCFA) cluster from version 9.0.2 to version 9.1, organizations are initially not visible within the environment. If you re-run the data migration process, the organizations are successfully restored and become fully functional; however, the user interface (UI) dashboard continues to display the total number of organizations as "0".

Cause

• This issue occurs due to a user interface display reporting mismatch following the post-upgrade database migration sequence.

Resolution

• This issue is under review with Broadcom Engineering. Subscribe to the article to receive updates on this issue.
• To restore structural access to your organizations post-upgrade, you must re-run the migration database script. Please note that while this action restores full organizational visibility and functionality, the dashboard count will temporarily continue to display "0".
