Issue/Introduction

• The components list appears blank in Build > Lifecycle > Upgrade on VCF Operations Appliance.
• The Upgrade Path for affected components is displayed as undefined.
• The following is observed on the UI :
  
• The following error banner is displayed in the Check binaries on Upgrade page : 
  Unable to retrieve information about required binaries. Internal Server Error for service fleet-upgrade-service. Verify logs for service fleet-upgrade-service.
• Upgrade tasks are stuck and cannot be initiated.
• The following entries are observed in the fleet upgrade service logs in VMSP :

Environment

VCF Operations 9.1

Cause

During the transition to the 9.1 Fleet Lifecycle Service, the stale or corrupted entries in the database prevent the UI from correctly mapping the current component state to a valid upgrade path.
