Issue/Introduction

When attempting to download the Automic scheduler in Automation Analytics & Intelligence (AAI), the download fails to complete. The following error is observed in the jaws.log.

WARN [APITransactionVendorImpl] Error running converter for API transaction.
com.termalabs.common.JawsException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Calendar Patterns Set is not consistent
at deployment.aai.war/com.termalabs.server.app.scheduler.SchedulerHelper.downloadScheduler(SchedulerHelper.java:259)

Additionally, JOBS or JOBP may appear missing or incomplete in the AAI Web UI because the download process is interrupted.

Environment

  • Product: Automation Analytics & Intelligence (AAI) v24.x, Automic Workload Automation v24.x
  • Component: Automic Connector v2.x

Cause

DE203817 : This issue occurs when the Projected Start Time Period (days) setting is configured with a value(more than 7 days) that creates inconsistencies during the calendar pattern conversion process for the Automic scheduler.

Resolution

Workaround

Follow these steps to resolve the inconsistent calendar pattern error:

  1. Log in to the AAI Web UI.
  2. Navigate to the scheduler configuration for the Automic Connector.
  3. Locate the field Projected Start Time Period (days).
  4. Modify the value to 7 days.
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Stop and then Restart the Automic Connector service.
  7. Wait approximately one hour (depending on the scheduled Job Definition Refresh Times) for the synchronization to complete.
  8. Verify that the missing jobs/workflows are now searchable in the AAI Web UI.
