Error: VM replication sync slow or incremental sync during reprotect task

Issue/Introduction

VMs experience RPO violations due to prolonged incremental synchronization during the failback reprotect phase.

Environment

vSphere Replication 9.x

Cause

This is expected behavior. When a reprotect task is initiated, an incremental sync automatically occurs, and the VMs begin replicating in the opposite direction.

Resolution

The Incremental sync is expected during reprotect task, this also depends on the bandwidth and network connection, hence wait for incremental sync to complete.
