Issue/Introduction

Customers deploying the Universal Monitoring Agent (UMA) across multiple OpenShift clusters have noted that managing frequent UMA updates via the Graphical User Interface (GUI) is operationally challenging and highly time-consuming.

Specifically, Customers are requesting supported workflows using the oc patch installplan command to streamline patching operations across large-scale cluster environments.

Resolution

This feature is currently an active Enhancement Request (ER) and is under review by the Product Management team.

Official support for CLI-based UMA updates using oc patch installplan has not yet been integrated into the current release.
