Email alert displays Risk Level Score instead of Sandbox Threat Score in Cloud SWG

Issue/Introduction

Administrative email alerts for Cloud SWG Malware Analysis Advanced Service (MAAS) may display a "Risk Level Score" (values 1-10) where a "Sandbox Threat Score" was previously expected. This occurs despite the Cloud SWG report correctly showing a Threat Score of 10 and a "Malware" verdict.

Environment

• Cloud Secure Web Gateway (Cloud SWG)
• Malware Analysis Advanced Service (MAAS)

Symptoms:

• Administrative email alerts show "Risk Level Score" instead of "Threat Score."
• Verdict is correctly identified as "Malware."
• Portal reports show "Threat Score 10," but the email notification shows "Risk Level Score."

Cause

This issue is due to a known defect (EAR-8368) where the email template incorrectly pulls the risk level metric instead of the specific sandbox threat score following recent service enhancements.

Resolution

This issue is targeted to be fixed in a future release.
