Issue/Introduction

This article provides troubleshooting information and a list of common KB articles for the issue where licenses cannot be assigned from VCF Operations 9.0 to vCenter Server.

Symptoms:

  • In VCF Operations, under License Management, the no vCenter server is listed as available for license assignment.
  • Under the License Management, Licenses, vCenter Systems section it shows the following message.

    "No Data Found" "The table lists vCenter instances of version 9+ which are managed by this VCF Operations instance. To add version 9+ vCenter systems and activate license management, go to Integrations"

VCF Operations 9.0.x
vCenter Server 9.0.x

Resolution

This issue can occur due to multiple causes, and is particularly common when required configurations related to time synchronization, insufficient privileges, or vCenter management registration (License) are missing. Please refer to the following KB articles for details on these cases.
