Issue/Introduction

  • Unable to check ISO/URL in VAMI.

  • No vCenter Updates are visible.

  • VAMI update URL settings are configured for Default: https://vapp-updates.vmware.com/vai-catalog/valm/vmw/8d167796-34d5-4899-be0a-6daade4005a3/<current_version>.latest

Environment

Resolution

Obtain a download token and configure VAMI update settings to use the the dl.broadcom.com URL.

To:

Specified: https://dl.broadcom.com/<downloadToken>/PROD/COMP/VCENTER/vmw/8d167796-34d5-4899-be0a-6daade4005a3/8.0.3.00400/

Additional Information

Alternate method to update:

  • Manually download the vCenter update ISO and attach the the vCenter VM.

  • Use the VAMI check CD-ROM to apply that specific update, see patching via CD.
