When configuring in VCF Operations 9.0.x > Identity and Access Management > Sign-On (SSO) via Fleet Management > Identity & Access > VCF Instances > Component Configuration, the NSX Manager for the Management Domain fails with the following status:
"Error occurred while configuring the component for SSO. Check support logs under Control Panel for more details."Other components, such as the Management Domain vCenter or Workload Domain NSX Managers, may show a status of Configured ✓.
VCF Operations 9.0.x
This issue occurs because multiple NSX adapter instances are collecting data from the same NSX Manager endpoint. Typically, one instance is an auto-discovered VCF adapter, while the other is a manually created or legacy adapter in the NSX Management Pack (MP). VCF Operations cannot resolve the correct API endpoint when duplicate adapters exist, leading to a configuration conflict.
To resolve this issue, the redundant NSX adapter must be removed to eliminate the routing conflict.
